With CES 2011 over, we've gotten a taste of what new tablets are set to hit the market this year. While there were dozens of tablets that debuted at the show, only a few lived up to the hype they built before hand. Here is our selection of the top 5 upcoming tablets to look forward to in 2011.

Motorola Xoom
Voted the best gadget at CES 2011 by CNET, the Motorola Xoom is expected to be the first tablet to be released into the market with Android 3.0 Honeycomb. Equipped with a 10″ display, Tegra 2 dual-core processor,dual cameras and 4G LTE capability, it no doubt deserves that title.
BlackBerry PlayBook
The smaller 7-inch BlackBerry PlayBook running on QNX OS also brags dual 1GHz processors and cameras alongside 4G WiMAX capability. Taking a very different approach on how tablets are suppose to be, the BlackBerry PlayBook battery has been on everyone's lips since it was first teased many months back.

Samsung Sliding Series 7 PC
The Samsung Sliding Series 7 PC is what we like to call a "tabtop". Running Windows 7 with a clever touchscreen UI, the Samsung device works as both a tablet and a laptop. With its slideout keyboard, you can set the device up as a laptop or close the keyboard to use it as a touchscreen tablet with 16-points of touch (now that's what we call multi-touch!). Featuring a 10″ display just like the Motorola Xoom, it runs on a 1.66 GHz Oak Trail processor and is expected to release in March with a price tag of $699.
iPad 2 (rumors)
While it didn't make its way to the CES floors, the sheer amount of iPad 2 rumors running through the show might as well put it there. So what can we expect from the iPad 2? The rumor mill suggests a rear-facing camera, Retina Display, dual-core processor and larger storage, in order to make it up to spec with the other tablets on the list. With a rumored release date of sometime between March and April, alongside recent statements from Digg Founder Kevin Rose suggesting the tablet will be announced as soon as within the next "3-4 weeks", the iPad 2 will no doubt overshadow just about every tablet we saw at CES a couple days ago.
