The seven tips teach you how to distinguish the remodified watches:
1, does the dial harmony with the pointers
needle must meet withe the dial. If the dial scale is a high character, hour and minute needles can not be too long; If the dial scale is lacquerred black, then the hour and minute needles also must be lacquerred black; if the dial is luminous, it must have luminous needles. In addition to the needles and the dial should be uniform in the color and size, their distance with glass should not be too close. In short, any failure to comply with watch requirements and practices of watch industry, it will be remodified watch.
2, take care of the pointers
If the watch needles are modified, their must be not compact with the shaft hole, so it will be some indentation and scratch on the surface of needles. Some needles' length beyond a reasonable range, or the front of needles are upturned.
3, collate the marks of watch
Generally watch marks will include: watch brand, the number of drilling, production country, etc.; and in back case there is a watch model, production number, waterproof meter, watch glass material, case material and so on. If you find any marks does not match the watch's actual identity, it basically can be concluded that the watch is modified. For example, if the dial marks QUARTZ but really it is mechanical, then this watch is modified. If the mechanical watch is modified of the quartz watch movements, you can tell from its drilling number in dial, because the quartz watch have not 17 or 17 drills more.
4, the calendar window

5, to see whether the dial and case is harmony

6, whether the movement of a fixed compactly
Many modified watch's movement and case are difficult to meet with, including the handle shaft and handle head on the case, when movement and case have gap, then if you pull or push the adjusting handle, the movement may move with it.
7, Checking the Case
Generally the renovation watches, firstly it would use polished and Buffing approach to the repair case, but this would rub off a certain thickness of metal, and often appears the edges and corners to be polished into rounded.
