Gold Filled Clasps in a Vintage Avatar
Jewelry findings and gold filled clasps make an essential part of any gold filled jewelry design. These small yet useful elements play a highly important role in building a strong base for the ornament. Different findings are used for different types of requirements. For example, while some of the findings and gold filled clasps are instrumental in connecting the various links together in a necklace or a bracelet, some are used for making beautiful gold filled rings. Trombone Clasp
A Trombone clasp is a perfect example of elegant old style jewelry finding. When in use, it resembles a trombone. The use of such gold filled clasps had been especially seen in the Europe.
C Clasp
This clasp is made in the shape of English alphabetical letter "c". Most of the antique jewelry articles primarily brooches were seen to use this type of gold filled clasps.
Safety Clasp
Also popular with the name of rollover clasp, a safety gold filled clasp came into being after the era of the C clasp. It functions in the same way as a C clasp besides a few technical changes.
